Victorian Sterling Silver Vinaigrette by George Unite & Sons from 1897

Product Code: SMS7136

In good vintage condition, this has a loop so can be worn as a pendant.

A lovely foliate pierced decorated panel opens up. A vinaigrette is a small filigree container used to hold a perfume-soaked sponge or piece of cotton. Vinaigrette jewellery was worn by ladies during the Victorian era to mask unpleasant odours.

It has an empty cartouche. We can monogram it for you, £25 for one letter and £35 for two.

  • Silver weight: 15.6g
