In good vintage condition, this sterling silver repousse Alladin oil lamp has a lovely repousse pattern and its original hanging wick damper and top.
This is a special piece with a round pedestal foot.
It has a couple of little dings on the base.
Two winged mermaids make the handles.
It may have been used to heat water for tea.
It has a weighted base for stability.
Hallmarked: Made by Comyns of London Ltd in Eastbury Road, London E6 in 1893.
The company formed in 1993 as successors to William Comyns & Sons Ltd.
