In good vintage condition, this is a beautiful dish with intricate openwork.

  • Hallmarked: Made by Deakin & Francis Ltd in Regent Place, Birmingham in 1896.
  • The original proprietors were Stephen Henry Deakin & John Horace Francis (brothers-in-law).
  • Deakin & Francis have a proud history as silversmiths and jewellers dating back to 1786. The firm is still run by members of the Deakin family today. They are England's oldest manufacturing jewellers and still working from the same building that they started in back in the 18th century.
  • Silver Weight: 42.3g
  • Size: 15.3cm by 12.5cm. It is 3cm tall.
