Four Piece Sterling Silver Tea Service
In excellent condition, this is a beautiful and heavy quality vintage solid sterling silver four piece tea service.
This handsome teapot, coffee or water pot, pretty milk jug and two handled sugar bowl are in a very Art Deco style.
The teapot and coffee/water pot have a black angular handles with hinged lids terminating with black finials.
They are decorated with vintage ivory on the handles and finials.
They all have pedestal feet.
Hallmarked: Made by Cooper Brothers & Sons Ltd in Don Plate Works, Arundel Street, Sheffield & Holborn Viaduct, London in 1967.
Total silver weight: 1775g. The teapot is 683g, the coffee/water pot is 681g, the milk jug is 231g and the sugar bowl is 180g
Size: Teapot: 28cm from handle to spout and 12cm across. It stands 14cm tall.
Coffee/Water pot: 21cm from handle to spout and 9.5cm across, It stands 20cm tall.
Milk jug: 16cm from spout to handle and 7.5cm across. It is 8cm tall.
Sugar bowl: 17cm from spout to handle and 9cm across. It stands 9cm tall.
