Edwardian Sterling Silver Four-Piece Tea Service by Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd in Regent Street, London in 1903 & 1904 

In good vintage condition, this is a beautiful Edward VII tea service, comprising of a tea pot, a coffee pot or hot water pot, a milk jug and a sugar bowl. They are all decorated with swags and have terraced feet.

The tea pot and water jug have lovely wooden handles and finials.

Hallmarked: Made by Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd in Regent Street, London in 1903 & 1904.

Company founded 1880 by William Gibson & John Lawrence Langman (see WG over JL marks) - amalgamated into Garrard & Co 1952

Total Silver Weight: 1691g

Size: The teapot is 18cm tall. The base has a 9.5cm diameter. It is 25cm from handle to spout. The top is 13.5cm by 13cm.

The coffee pot/water jug is 24cm tall. The base has a 9cm diameter. It is 21.5cm from handle to spout. The top is 10cm by 9cm.

The sugar bowl is 13cm tall. The base has an 8cm diameter. It is 18cm from handle to handle. The top is 11.7cm by 10.5cm.

The milk jug is 15.5cm tall. The base has a 5.5cm diameter. It is 10cm from handle to spout. The top is 6.5cm by 4.5cm.
